A Necessary Battle

Numbers 14:24 “But because my servant Caleb has a different spirit and follows me wholeheartedly, I will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants will inherit it.” (NIV)*

A land of promise sits waiting

Those who wholeheartedly obey

Spilling milk and dripping honey

Where hope brims new each day.

From the Father comes deliverance

Abundance pours from His hand

God blesses the different spirit

One willing to fight for the land.

When battles rage, be encouraged

Stand strong if flaming arrows fly

Know it’s but a necessary battle

Before a sweeter by and by.
