Water’s edge

If bare toes

to water’s edge creep,

will  waters

somewhere heap

and create a path

of belief?

Oh, for faith to step forward when called—courage to put toes into chilly waters of impossible. It seems dry ground isn’t revealed until steps of faith are taken.

Joshua 3:15-16 “Now the Jordan is at flood stage all during harvest. Yet as soon as the priests who carried the ark reached the Jordan and their feet touched the water’s edge, the water from upstream stopped flowing. It piled up in a heap a great distance away.”*

I’m taking a blogging hiatus to focus on a son’s high school graduation/open house, and other writing projects. I’m continuing through The One Year Bible and hope to resume blogging when the dust settles around here.

Appreciate you, dear reader!
